2. Hosting and server logs

This website is built and hosted with Framer (Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, Netherlands). When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and version, operating system and referring URL.

This data is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably and is not combined with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website). We have a data processing agreement with Framer.

3. Fonts and scripts from third parties

To display our typography, the website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). On the home page, a small scrolling library (Lenis) is loaded from the content delivery network unpkg (operated via Cloudflare, Inc.). For this, your browser connects to these servers and transmits your IP address.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a consistent and smooth presentation of the website). Google and Cloudflare may process data in the USA; both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

4. Waitlist and bracelet reservation

If you join the waitlist or reserve a Nightlet bracelet, we process your email address, the list you signed up for, the chosen finish (if any) and the page you signed up on. We use this solely to inform you about the launch of Nightlet and your reservation.

Your sign-up is delivered to our internal team workspace at Slack (Slack Technologies Limited, Salesforce Tower, 60 R801, North Dock, Dublin, Ireland; parent company in the USA, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. You can withdraw at any time by writing to info@nightlet.com; we will then delete your address. Otherwise, we delete it when it is no longer needed for the purpose above.

5. Job applications

When you apply through our application form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), start date, salary expectation, links (optional), your message and the files you upload (CV, portfolio, other documents).

Uploaded files are stored with Cloudinary (Cloudinary Ltd., USA, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The complete application, including links to your files, is delivered to our internal team workspace at Slack (see section 4). Only the people involved in the hiring process have access.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG (initiating an employment relationship) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If we do not hire you, we delete your application data six months after the process has ended, unless you agree to a longer storage.

6. Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To remember your selection between pages (for example, which job you are applying for), the site stores a small entry in your browser's session storage. It is deleted automatically when you close the browser tab.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw a consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI), Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg.

All texts, images, videos, designs and the Nightlet brand on this website are protected by copyright and trademark law. Any use beyond private viewing requires our prior written consent.

5. Liability and links

We take great care with the content of this website but cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate or always available. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence; otherwise only for the breach of essential obligations and limited to foreseeable damage. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from here.

6. Applicable law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
